The Scottish Controller’s first appearance was in Smuggling from Scotland. He first appeared when he told Donald and Douglas to get to their trains. Later, he told Donald he was bought by Sir Topham Hatt. But Douglas was to stay in Scotland. What happened to him after the twins went to Sodor is unknown.
Personality[]
The controller is a cruel man who is prejudiced against steam locomotives. He hopes all of them are scrapped and was presumably really happy when the last steam engine on BR was withdrawn in 1968.
