Splatter and Dodge are two diesels who work at Barrow Scrapyards.

Splatter and Dodge were built in England between 1952 and 1962 and worked on British Railways. In 1967, the duo caught Oliver, Isabel and Toad trying to escape to Sodor after Oliver ran out of coal. Splatter and Dodge shunted them to Barrow-in-Furness Scrapyard, only for them to be saved by Douglas.

Splatter and Dodge are based on a BR Class 08 shunter, the most produced of the BR diesels. Almost 1,000 were made. Diesel, Arry, Bert, Paxton, Sidney, and The Black Class 08s share the same basis.
