Jock is a small yellow engine who works on the Arlesdale Railway.

Bio

Rex's steampipe began leaking one day and Frank had to rescue him. The Small Controller began to think that his railway needed another engine, so that Frank wouldn't have to do rescue acts. Jock was built in 1976 and arrived to help with the heavy workload on the Arlesdale Railway. He was named for his yellow color, as suggested by Douglas. During the holiday months, people went to the Railway just to see him. He became cocky, and even more so pulled a broken down lorry's trailer into the yard single handedly. The other engines, especially Mike, began to resent Jock's popularity and arrogance, decided to teach him a lesson. The next day, Jock was to doublehead a train with Mike. Mike's driver shut off steam, making Jock do all the work. His prank backfired when Mike broke down on the way home, and Jock had to pull him as well as the train. The two engines made up their quarrel that evening and Jock resolved to be less conceited in future.

Trainz Models

Until An Unfortunate Coincidence for Jock, SI3D's model of Jock was used. He was the only Arlesdale Railway engine to be uploaded on the 2006 site. From then onwards, WildnorWester's model is used.

Basis

Jock is based off of "Northern Rock" from the Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway, who was built in 1976. T1E2H3 saw this locomotive when he visited said railway.
