Jim was the number 6 on the Mid Sodor railway who was later discovered at the Peel Godred Aluminum works.
Bio
Not much is known about Jim. He was built around 1900 by Kerr Stuart Wren and likely arrived on Sodor the same year or the year after. He worked on the Mid Sodor Railway until it closed in 1947. Jim was then sent to the Peel Godred Aluminum works a year after Stuart and Falcon. He worked there after Stuart and Falcon left until the place declined and closed in 1967. He did not see the light of day until 50 years later. Henry had heard his voice, and Oliver, Jack, and Alfie were trying to find the source of it when Oliver fell through the ground, down into the bunker. Jim was then restored in the spring of 2017 and was given to the Skarloey Railway.
Trainz Model
Jim's model was made by Sodor Workshops.
Basis
Jim is based on the Kerr Stuart Wren "Skylark" locomotives.
Persona
Jim appears to be very friendly. He gradually became hard of hearing due to his work with dynamite but it was restored after he was repaired in 2017.
Appearances
Season 3
Season 4
Jim's model was used for an engine in Duncan's story for The Eyes. However, this is not intended to be Jim.
