Episode 36: Highly Sprung was uploaded on February 17, 2018 and is the second episode of the fifth season.
Plot
When traffic begins to increase on the Ffarquhar Branch, the Fat Controller decides to bring Rose, one of Daisy's twin sisters, on trial. Unfortunately, being almost exactly like Daisy, history repeats itself when she feels she is too highly sprung.

Trivia
- Thomas1Edward2Henry3 wanted to experiment with Daisy's sister, but felt she wouldn't have anything to do after her debut, hence why she left in the end. In fact, when T1E2H3 originally processed the idea, she was not going to redeem herself after the Fat Controller offered her a second chance. She was going to insult the Fat Controller and claim she was glad to be leaving the railway. This would have proved the one difference between her and Daisy: Daisy decided to become really useful whilst Rose would have just kept to her lazy ways. T1E2H3 changed this as he felt it was too harsh.
- When Daisy remarks that there are many single unit railcars like her, she is referring to the fact that her basis, a BR Class 101 Metro-Cammell, comprises of two railcars with each unit only having the cab at the front. In reality, there are no BR 101s that have cabs on both sides.
- This episode marks the first appearance of Sodor Workshops' Percy model and Railway Works 3D's Toby model. The latter may revert back to his SI3D model as the RW3D model does not have a large selection of faces.
