- Toby's voice has changed from American to British due to viewer feedback.
- The intense stareoff between Toby, the men, and the yeti was a parody of an iconic scene from the 1966 movie The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly.
- The creature's roar is recycled from the 1986 Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer logo, which contains a lion roaring inside a circle.
- The photo of the yeti is actually an inverted image of frame 352 from the 1967 Patterson-Gimlin film which is thought to depict a female bigfoot.
